Christy Zarlengo
An Early Childhood music educator since 1999, and an alumnus of Berklee College of Music where she studied piano, voice and songwriting, Christy Zarlengo (she/her) founded Urban Music Together® in 2001, and the Children's Music Center of J.P. in 2006. Christy has taught piano lessons, Suzuki piano and early childhood music classes at ZUMIX, Brookline Music School and the New School in Cambridge, and is currently Coordinator of Classes for Young Children at Brookline Music School. Additional training includes the summer Dalcroze Institute at the Longy School of Music, and Music Together® Certification from the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, NJ. Christy is co-creator and featured teacher in "Little Virtuoso: Music's Everywhere," an interactive music DVD/CD for children birth - 4 years.
RANIA TOLI
Rania Toli is a Greek singer, composer, and educator with a background in jazz, Mediterranean, and world music traditions. She holds degrees from Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory, where she studied performance, production, composition, and vocal pedagogy. With a passion for musical storytelling and creative exploration, she loves helping young learners discover the joy of music. Her vocal teaching style blends playful engagement with healthy vocal technique, creating a fun and supportive environment where every student feels encouraged to find their unique voice. She is excited to join CMCJP to share the joy of music with young children and families.
